Lebanon Ford – “Zombie Lot”

Lebanon Ford just released the commercial produced by Erratic Media Group called “Zombie Lot”. This is the first of three commercials that we’ll be producing for Lebanon Ford.

We have all felt the experience of going to a car dealership only to be swarmed by the onslaught of zombie salesmen – at least that’s the way it feels sometimes. Here at EMG, we like to deviate from the normal with our TV commercials, and this one was no exception. The whole production was a lot of fun, albeit interesting to say the least. We had everyone made-up in like zombies only to have to wait for a huge storm to pass over Lebanon, Ohio. We ended up filming until about 4:30 in the morning. Needless to say,  we all felt like zombies by the end of the day.

Lebanon Ford is also giving away an iPad to the best Dealership Horror Story.

Sherif and I would like to give a very special thanks to all of the cast and crew – Tony Deemer, Jeremi Blurton, Jeff Cryder, Zach Bello, Mike Cody, Rob Dejene, Jerrod Davis, Alex Cryder, Charlie Cryder, Nate Bodeker, Grant Foglesong, & Tony

Excedrin commercial featuring cage fighters and Bachelor Pad winner David Good

First of all, Happy New Year to everyone!  We ended the year strong producing four commercials for national advertisers through POPTENT.  Not bad for a Dayton, Ohio based video production company.  After a phone conference with Excedrin we began working on the cage fighting concept.  Although there was initial hesitation from Excedrin based on the concept alone, they did like the direction we were going with it.  Thanks to Mike Patt, Beavercreek Martial Arts, Anthony Morgan, Matt Brown, Jeremi Blurton and our very own Max Spang.  This commercial was shot over two days due to last minute scheduling issues but it turned out amazing.  In addition, we heard David Good (The Bachelorette participant, Bachelor Pad Winner), was going to have a book signing at The Wine Loft.  I ran up there to talk to him briefly (due to a family emergency I couldn’t stay long).  I told David I had an idea for a commercial and he said he’d call me Monday.  Based on a blog about gold diggers on David Good’s website www.mancodebook.com, I came up with a last minute idea about how difficult it is to be one of America’s most eligible bachelors.  With a New Year’s Eve deadline, these two Excedrin commercials showed how well Erratic Media Group works under pressure.  They were shot in three days and edited in four hours!  Big props to Max pulling out all the stops last minute as I was too sick to do anything the last day (I’m getting old)

Three Olives Vokda commercial submission for poptent

This was an awesome opportunity to shoot another poptent commercial at a new local restaurant, Archer’s Tavern in Centerville, Ohio,  which is  owned by one of my high school friends.  They were kind enough to open VERY early so we could shoot this.  The concept was created by Max and he did a great job bringing it to life.  Ryan Singer, the main character, is my old roommate and fellow stand up comedian.  This guys is probably the nicest and most talented comedian I have ever met and we are extremely fortune to have had him for our commercial.

Three Olives Vodka chose the theme “Three guys walk into a bar.” for their campaign promoting the new DUDE Lemon-Lime product. If you like this please go to the website and “LIKE” the video. Once again, we are trying to show that Dayton, Ohio can produce nation/international quality productions.

Sour Patch Kids commercial submission for poptent

Over Thanksgiving weekend we decided to tape a commercial for Sour Patch Kids.  Poptent, a crowdsourcing site for commercial production, had an assignment to produce a Sour Patch Kids commercial targeting the tween/teen market for Sour Patch Kids Facebook page. Within two hours of our submission being approved we were the second most liked and a staff pick.  The contest ends tomorrow and we feel we have a great chance at winning this.  Please support our efforts and go to http://www.poptent.net/media/25057 sign up/ sign in and LIKE our video.  This is not a popularity contest since Sour Patch Kids will ultimately decide who the winner is.  But, it never hurts to let them know what the consumers want :-)
